Sickness and new quarter

Hey everyone, welcome to this week’s blog. Kicking off a new quarter at SCAD while battling a tough cold has slowed things down a bit, so productivity hasn’t been at its peak. This journal will be a little different from the usual format, but we’ll still cover the key updates from the week.
Brand Tee Shirts
We kicked off the week by receiving our T-shirt sample, and it’s exactly what we were looking for—the perfect fabric and fit. The only tweak needed was adjusting the graphic size slightly, scaling it down just a bit.
To start, we’ve ordered 15 shirts in three sizes: 5 Medium, 5 Large, and 5 XL. Throughout April, we’ll be shooting content, gearing up for the official release in the first week of May. Exciting things ahead.
Knit Sweater
This week, we shared an update on the knit sweater over on Instagram. Our next sample has already been ordered, featuring the necessary adjustments—plus an embroidered detail we’re excited to reveal. If all goes well, this should be the final sample, but time will tell. So far, we’re ahead of schedule on nearly everything, which is exactly where we want to be.
We also had a meeting with our illustrator, which went great. He needed some direction on the style we’re looking for and the ideas we have in mind. After the incredible work he did for Irving, we’re beyond excited to collaborate with him again.
Irving
With Irving wrapping up, we took some time to organize, ensuring everything has its place. We counted the remaining bottles and stored them away for a future fragrance in the works. Since we won’t be producing any more Irving bottles, we’ll be announcing the final count early this week.
Starting the quarter off sick wasn’t part of the plan, and it’s caused some delays in shipping orders while slowing us down a bit. But as we head into the week, we’re expecting the shirts to arrive and production to begin—and we’re ready to go all in.
Wishing you all a strong and productive start to your week. Thanks for reading!
